Today, Ella came up to me out of nowhere and yelled, "Who loves Mom? ME!!!" (She threw her arms up in the air for the "ME" part) I had one of those moments where I realized it is all worth it. Those days (and there's been lots of them lately) where I just want to kill my children are worth it. The days that I spend all day spanking, breaking up fights, and sending kids to their rooms are worth it. The days that I don't even get a shower until after the kids are in bed are worth it.
I've decided I'm going to try to do something new. I'm going to try to list something I love about my kids every day, to help me remember the good things.
#1 I love that Ella's now talking in adorable complete sentences.
Funny story - She called her Nana while I was in the shower yesterday and told her she wanted milk. She told Nana "Mama in shower and I want 'nulk'. Not water, (which is what was in her bottle at the time) 'nulk'." "Nulk" is how she says milk. She says most words so clearly, but that one she's said since she was little, and we can't get her to change it.
I love that! She needs to call her Grandma in PA! And it is hard to sometimes remember the cute stuff they do and say. This will be great!!! :)
